PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Local Coast Guard crews rescued a cruise ship passenger off the coast of North Carolina Monday night.
Watchstanders say a 52-year-old woman complained of chest pains on board the Carnival Glory, which left Norfolk late Monday afternoon.
She, her husband and a nurse were hoisted off the ship and into a helicopter around 10:30 p.m. They were flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Her condition is unknown at this time.
