HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Police seek two men in connection with a shooting on West Queen Street Saturday afternoon.

Hampton Police Division spokeswoman Mary Shackelford said police took several calls of a shooting around 3:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Queen Street and arrived to find a 20-year-old Hampton man suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso and hand.

Medics took him to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, where he is listed in stable condition.

Shackelford said two suspects approached the victim and fired multiple rounds. Police identified the suspects as Floyd Lee Taybron, a 20-year-old Hampton man who lives in the 400 block of Greenbriar Avenue, and Tyrek Allen, a 19-year-old Newport News man of the 700 block of Waterfront Circle.

Both suspects have warrants on file for maiming, using a firearm in the commission of a felony, and shooting from a vehicle.

Allen is also wanted in connection to two other shootings in Newport News. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either suspect is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
