NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A 26-year-old Virginia Beach man facing rape charges in two cities pleaded guilty in court Thursday to forcible sodomy.
Roy Ruiz Loredo was arrested June 25 for sexually assaulting two women and attempting to rape a third in Virginia Beach. A fourth victim, a woman from Norfolk, came forward after the arrest and said Loredo raped her as well.
The Norfolk victim told 10 On Your Side last year she had just gotten home from work April 26, 2012 when a stranger barged through her the door.
"A total stranger comes in and destroys all that's safe," the victim told WAVY.com. "He came right over to me and grabbed me by the hair."
She said he then threw her down onto a table, picked up a knife sitting on the floor and put it to her neck.
"He told me to go to my room," she said. "He held the knife up my neck the whole time as we were walking to my room and he had his hand over my mouth."
The victim said she was forced to strip down and perform a sex act on him.
"I didn't think I was going to see tomorrow," she said. "He had a knife to my throat and he threatened my life."
Loredo pleaded guilty to one count of burglary, one count of abduction and two counts of forcible sodomy. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 31, 2013.
