NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Relocated Chihuahuas from California will be up for adoption Tuesday at Norfolk's SPCA.
The breed is one of the most populous in southern California. Applications for their adoption will be accepted Tuesday, Dec. 11 starting at 11 a.m. at 916 Ballentine Blvd. in Norfolk.
The adoption fee is $225, a portion of which goes to the Pup My Ride program, which pays for travel expenses for Chihuahuas to be adopted in higher-demand areas of the country and avoid euthanasia.
For more information, contact the Norfolk SPCA at 757-622-3319.
