Off-duty officer injured in crash

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - An off-duty Norfolk police officer was involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.

The accident was reported at around 12:50 p.m. at the intersection of Tidewater Drive and East Princess Anne Road.

According to police spokesperson Karen Parker-Chesson, there were injuries reported, but no one had to be transported to the hospital.

The investigation into what caused the crash continues.
