NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk police and firefighters were called to investigate a suspicious package discovered near the intersection of Church Street and Brambleton Avenue Thursday afternoon.
It turned out to be the cover for an e-reader, like a Kindle, according to Capt. Harry Worley with the Norfolk Fire Department.
The intersection was closed to all traffic as the Norfolk police-fire bomb squad investigated. It was reopened about an hour later, once the situation was deemed safe.
