New TCC president starts work

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Tidewater Community College's new president Dr. Edna Kolovani started work July 9.
Kolovani had previously worked at Napa Valley Community College in California, and told WAVY.com fundraising would be a major focus at TCC.
"With the state support somewhat lagging behind from what it used to be, we need to identify where we have our best impact in the Hampton Roads area and where can we find partners," Kolovani said.
Kolovani took over for Dr. Deborah DiCroce who left TCC after 14 years.
