NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The Virginia Department of Transportation will open the Interstate 64 Norview Avenue ramp Friday morning.
The ramp will be open in time for morning rush hour traffic, Brook Grow with VDOT said. The new ramp replaces the loop from the interstate to Norview Avenue east toward Norfolk International Airport.
Motorists will be able to get to the airport via the new ramp or the old loop for now, but VDOT says the old loop will be closed and demolished sometime in early March.
There are new signs to show the distance to the exit ramp.
