NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Police say they are investigating the death of a man who passed away after falling down stairs in Norfolk.
Medics were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of East Tanners Creek Friday morning at 3 a.m. for an injury.
Karen Parker-Chesson with the Norfolk Police Department says the man was pronounced dead at the scene, and police were contacted because medics thought his death was suspicious.
Parker-Chesson says the man's death is being investigated as an undetermined death, and that the man had attended a party at the same location. Police say the man was going down a set of stairs when he fell, and that he may have been intoxicated at the time.
The investigation is ongoing.
