Yancy was also was charged with malicious wounding and two counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

On Sept. 2, Norfolk officers responded to the 500 block of Spruce Street shortly before 4 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived they found Tucker suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics took him to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
