MacArthur Memorial opens in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The new $6 million visitor’s center officially opened at the MacArthur Memorial Saturday.

There are new exhibits celebrating America’s military heroes and honoring everyone who’s served our nation in uniform.

The new visitor’s center feature a high definition theater, a rotating exhibit gallery, a visitor’s lounge and a gift shop. Special events were scheduled all weekend.

The MacArthur Memorial is in Downtown Norfolk, across from the MacArthur Center.
