Gov. orders flags flown at half-staff

RALEIGH, N.C. (WAVY) - N.C. Gov. Bev Perdue has ordered all U.S. and North Carolina flags be flown at half-staff Aug. 7-Aug. 10 in tribute of the victims of the Wisconsin shooting Sunday morning.
Six were killed and three were wounded at a Sikh temple outside of Milwaukee.
"This tragi loss underscores the importance of respect for all faiths and beliefs, a unique foundation of our nation that has made us so strong," Perdue said.
