NORFOLK, V.a (WAVY) - The Chrysler Museum will close next week as it undergoes a multimillion dollar renovation.
The entire museum will close to the public as renovations are made to expand the museum. Curators say every gallery will be updated, including the world-renowned glass exhibit. The museum is also expanding its location by adding two wings.
All 30,000 pieces of art will be moved to protect them during the construction.
The renovations are expected to be complete in early 2014.
