Car hits home, light pole in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk dispatch says a vehicle struck a building and a light pole in the morning hours of July 4 in the 3500 block of Seay Avenue.

Witnesses at the scene told 10 On Your Side photographer Larry Carney a Denali hit a blue car that is parked on the side of the street. The Denali then ran over a transformer, hit a house and ran away, according to witnesses.

Karen Parker-Chesson says no injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.

Norfolk Police has not released any more information about this incident. Stay with WAVY.com for updates as they become available.
