NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Norfolk police have released a description of the man they say robbed a store in Ocean View Saturday.

Officers say a man barged into the Beach Bay Food Store on First View Street, near Government Avenue, and pulled out a gun.

Police say he ran off and hid inside an apartment nearby. Police went to check, but they could not find the suspect.

They say he was driving a red pickup truck and wearing a paisley cloth over his face, a dark t-shirt, dark jeans and black shoes.
