SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY) - Smithfield Police say no one was injured during a small fire at a Smithfield apartment complex Tuesday morning.
Lt. Matthew Rogers with the Smithfield Police Department told WAVY.com fire crews responded to the 900 block of John Rolfe Drive for a minor structure fire inside a crawl space at the Morris Creek Landing Apartments just before 10 a.m.
The fire was put out and crews ventilated the space. No one was injured and no one was displaced because of the fire, Rogers added.
