NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - High school students pitched in to help with renovations at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News Tuesday.
The students from Peninsula Catholic School helped paint sections of the museum, which officials hopes will be back open for visitors in mid-December.
The museum's lower levels were washed out after two separate floods earlier this year, causing major renovations.
"We get to hang out with each other and have a good time and it's all for a good cause," one student said.
