NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - A 27-year-old Norfolk man was shot to death near 25th Street and Oak Avenue Saturday night following an argument at a house party in Newport News.
Police found the victim, Reginald Turner of the 6000 block of Wellington Avenue in Norfolk around 2:30 a.m. suffering multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 1200 block of 25th Street, Harold Eley with NNPD said.
Investigators determined that Turner was attending a house party on 25th Street when he got into an argument with one or more of the party goers. The argument escalated and moved outside where Turner was shot several times.
Turner was taken to Riverside Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
