Man arrested for sex assault of child

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - A Newport News man was arrested on multiple counts of sexual assault against a child.
According to Newport News Police, Reginald G. Morst was arrest Aug. 4 for a series of incidents that occurred between August 2011 and May 2012. The victim's mother reported the assault to the police which led to Morst's arrest.
Police say the victim was 15 years old at the time and is an acquaintance of Morst.
Morst has been charged with rape, three counts of indecent liberties with a child and labor/custody: endanger/cruelly treating a child.
