WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - A man was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning in Williamsburg.
Maj. Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department said the robbery occurred around 1:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Richmond Road. According to the victim, he was out walking when an unknown white male approached him and demanded money at gunpoint.
When the victim handed over his money, the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect has been described as a white man, standing 6’1” and wearing a dark long sleeved shirt and khaki pants.
