CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Organizers from the Family Care Senior Solutions and the Virginia Department of Social Services teamed up with a number of organizations to collect much needed items for those living in hurricane ravaged areas of New Jersey.
Items such as gently used books, toiletries, clothing, undergarments/socks, coats and blankets, diapers, formula and infant clothes will be collected through 2 p.m. Nov. 15.
Organizers told WAVY.com they plan to deliver the items to New Jersey on Saturday, Nov. 17.
