Local students will work at White House

WASHINGTON, D. C. (WAVY) - Six students with local ties will participate in the White House Spring 2012 internship program .

The students will work in a variety of White House departments, including the Domestic Policy Council, the National Economic Council, the Office of Cabinet Affairs, the Office of Chief of Staff, the Office of Communications, the Office of Digital Strategy, the Office of the First Lady and etc.

The students are as follows:

  • Nathaniel Brown
    • Hometown: Virginia Beach, Va. , Old Dominion University
  • Marshele Bryant
    • Hometown: Chesapeake, Va. ; Howard University, D.C.
  • Emily Gottschalk-Marconi
    • Hometown: LaGrange Park, IL; College of William and Mary, Va.
  • Zachary Larrimore
    • Hometown: Duck, N.C.; Strayer University, Va.
  • Lindsay Matthews
    • Hometown: Birdsboro, Pa.; Hampton University, Va.
  • Nickolas Reck
    • Hometown: Douglassville, Pa.; College of William and Mary, Va.

Applications for the Fall 2012 program are now available. They are due April 1, 2012.
