VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - A house fire caused heavy damage to a home in the Bellwood Estates neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
Virginia Beach firefighters responded to a house fire in the 4000 block of Sarsfield Street at 1:46 p.m. Crews arrived to find fire on the first and second floors. A woman and juvenile got out of the home safely.
The fire displaced the residents, according to a spokesperson for the Virginia Beach Fire Department. The cause remains under investigation.
