HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating those responsible for killing a 19-year-old man early Saturday morning.
Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division said officers were patrolling the 2000 block of Seldendale Drive when they heard shots fired just before 1:45 a.m. They then located Bartholomew Kyle Robinson of Hampton suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Price said Robinson was sitting inside a 2008 Dodge Caliber when he was shot and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
There is no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
