Tornado cleanup continues

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - The hardest hit areas by the tornado last week are in "fair shape," according to the City of Hampton's Tami Back.

According to Back, the city has collected more than 300 truckloads of storm debris since Saturday, and crews have repaired 94 traffic signs that were damaged during the storm.

Cleanup will continue through this week.

Residents in the affected areas who require assistance and volunteer groups can contact emergency management at 727-1208.
