HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - A house fire in Hampton Saturday morning displaced two adults and one child.
Fire crews responded to the 400 block of Seminole Road around 8:05 a.m. for reports of a house fire.
Crews got on scene and were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes according to a Fire Department spokesman.
Fire officials tell WAVY.com that the fire appears to have started on the second floor, where most of the damage to the house was sustained. Fire investigators are working to determine the exact cause of the fire.
The two adults and one child who live at the home were able to escape the blaze unharmed but were displaced. They declined assistance from the Red Cross.
No firefighters were injured.
