HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a man was shot and killed upon arrival to an acquaintance's home.
According to Sgt. Jason Price with the Hampton Police Division, Christopher Moses, 22, was visiting an acquaintance in the 100 block of Saint George Way just after 11 a.m.
Moses, of Newport News, was shot once and pronounced dead on the scene.
Police say 23-year-old Jerrell Marquise Speller is wanted in connection with Moses' death. Speller resides in the 700 block of Childs Avenue in Hampton.
He is wanted on charges of murder, use of a firearm, discharging a firearm in a residence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Neighbors told 10 On Your Side children were close to the scene when the shooting happened.
