HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton fire crews responded to the scene of a house fire on Cavalier Road in Hampton Friday morning.

A battalion chief at the scene says the fire was reported at 7:39 a.m.

Fire crews said there were two adults and one dog inside when the fire started, but everyone got out safely.

While the house is not a total loss, the Red Cross is still providing assistance.

The battalion chief on scene says it appears the fire was accidental.
