HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Someone is $1 million richer after purchasing a Powerball ticket in Hampton Wednesday, but no one has come forward.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Happy Shopper located at 209 South Mallory St.

Virginia Lottery players are urged to check their tickets. The winning numbers were 14-16-32-47-52 with the Powerball number 16. The winning ticket matched the first five numbers but not the Powerball, so it is worth $1 million.

The ticket holder has just 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim their prize. As soon as a ticket is found to be a winner, the ticket holder should immediately sign the back of it to claim ownership.

If you hold the winning ticket, call 757-825-7800 or 804-692-7000.
