HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Two men are in custody after a bank robbery at the Old Point National Bank located in the 300 block of Woodland Road in Hampton.
Cpl. Jason Price with Hampton Police Department said the call came in at 12:38 p.m.
Price said a man entered the business and gave the teller a note demanding money, and also implied that he had a weapon.
The suspect left the bank with money in a dark-colored Cadillac, according to police.
Price said nearby witnesses gave police a vehicle description and officers located the suspect's vehicle at the intersection of Armistead and Heffelfinger avenues in Hampton.
Price said two people were taken into custody, but charges have not been listed at this point.
