CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Two men were shot as they stood outside a Christmas party in Chesapeake just after midnight Sunday.
Witnesses told Chesapeake police that around 12:45 a.m. an unknown black male was chasing another unknown black male when they came to a property in the 400 block of Cobblewood Bend. The suspect then began shooting at the person he was chasing.
Two men who happened to be standing outside a home hosting a Christmas party were wounded in the gunfire. The men, ages 61 and 24, were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to a press release from Chesapeake police.
Both the suspect and the person he was chasing fled on foot and have not been identified. Police are looking for both men.
