CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake Police executed search warrants on the homes of two acquaintances Tuesday and found what they say were meth labs.

The first arrest was made in the 300 block of Velva Drive in Chesapeake, where Adam Kuykendall, 29, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, according to Kelly O'Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department.

As officers searched the home on Velva Drive, another set of officers searched the home of an acquaintance of Kuykendall in the 300 block of Kemp Lane, O'Sullivan added. There, officers arrested siblings Billinda and Charles Colonna. Charles Colonna, 29 was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine while Billinda Colonna, 24, was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine.

The Chesapeake Police Department, Sheriff's Office, fire department, Virginia State Police and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) were all involved in the arrest.

Further charges are pending on Kuykendall, O'Sullivan said.
