Man wanted for cutting ATM customer

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake Police are looking for a man who allegedly cut someone's wrist at an ATM.

Kelly O'Sullivan with Chesapeake Police says the incident occurred just before midnight on April 27 when a person was attacked from behind at the Bank of America in the 4300 block of Indian River Road.

Police say the suspect cut the victim's wrist with an unknown metal object and ran away towards Sparrow Road. Nothing was taken from the victim.

The suspect is described as a black man with brown hair, brown eyes. He is 6-feet tall and 220 pounds.

Anyone with information on his identity or whereabouts is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
