CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - A Chesapeake man was arrested and charged with threatening to bomb a Pizza Hut two days in a row.
Michael Zion Erickson, 35, is accused of making two telephone bomb threats at the Pizza Hut in the 200 block of Providence Road on Feb. 6 and Feb. 7, according to Chesapeake Assistant Fire Marshal Capt. Michael Thibeault.
Erickson was arrested in Chesapeake the evening of Feb. 7.
No specific reason was given for making the threats, and no explosive devices or materials were found.
Erickson was charged with two counts of threatening to bomb a building, which is a class 5 felony. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
Erickson is being held at the Chesapeake Correctional Center without bond.
