CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Roads continues to reach out and help those affected by the Connecticut school shooting.
Wicker’s Crab Pot in Chesapeake hosted a night of music, food and fun to benefit the victims of Sandy Hook. Some local businesses donated items for a raffle.
“I told them after the holidays we’d pick a day on the calendar and get some musicians together,” Ray Wicker told WAVY.com. “Some local businesses donated some [things] and we’d raffle it off and whatever we get, we’d send up there to the fund to help them out.”
Wicker’s Crab Pot is also donating 10 percent of its sales in addition to the money raised through raffles and auctions.
