CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake residents have notified WAVY.com they have been waiting for hours at the Cuffee Community Center.
Some voters reported waiting in line for at least five hours Tuesday morning.
"The presidential election is the largest turnout we have. We can't control the flow of voters .So, expect long lines. We're processing voters as fast as we can," explained Chesapeake Voter Registrar Al Spradlin.
Voters on scene say there are approximately three machines in the building located at 2019 Windy Road.
During the 2008 election, some voters were in line at the Cuffee Center for more than seven hours.
WAVY.com also received complaints about long lines to vote at Greenbrier Middle School in Chesapeake.
