CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Police say the treasurer of a high school band's booster club has been charged with embezzling money from the group.
According to Kelly O'Sullivan with the Chesapeake Police Department, 41-year-old Kimberly Compitello worked as a treasurer for Oscar Smith High School's band booster club.
Compitello was charged Jan. 31 with three counts of embezzlement and one count of forgery.
