VBPD searches for robbery suspect

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) - Virginia Beach Police are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate a suspect who robbed a man New Year’s Eve.
The robbery occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Mountain Drive. The suspect is an unknown black male who was wearing a white hooded jacket at the time.
The suspect was captured on surveillance footage.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
