Three arrested for Hampton burglary

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Police say three men are in custody following a burglary in the 1000 block of Beach Road in Hampton.

According to Mary Shackelford with the Hampton Police Division, officers were dispatched to the home just after noon Jan. 7 for a burglary alarm.

Shackelford said the three men gained entry into the home by entering through a window and stole jewelry, personal documents, money and credit cards.

Officers arrested one man immediately outside the home, another was arrested following a short foot pursuit and a third was arrested following a traffic stop.

William F. Allen, 26, Christopher T. Allen, 24, and Johnny G. Knight, 36, are all facing one count each of burglary, grand larceny and destruction of property.
