SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - The victim of an early morning shooting in Suffolk has died, according to officials.
Debbie George with the City of Suffolk said officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Dutch Road just after 2 a.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found a male in his 20s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries. He was later pronounced dead and has been identified as William K. Jordan, 27, of the 800 block of Dutch Road.
George said police do not have a suspect description at this time.

Wednesday, George said 11 pit pulls were found in bad conditions on Jordan's property. There is no evidence of dog fighting at this time because there is no evidence of equipment that is normally used. Song of the dogs had old scars and one did have severe lacerations on his ears.
