Restaurant robberies could be related

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Portsmouth Police say four robberies of Chinese restaurants appear to be related.

Jan Westerbeck with the Portsmouth Police Department released photos of three armed suspects who entered Dragon City restaurant at 3208 Academy Avenue June 7.

Westerbeck says in all four cases in Portsmouth, the suspects were armed with handguns.

The three other robberies occurred at Tops China, 3084 Airline Blvd. on May 29, Lin's Garden, 5752 Churchland Blvd. on June 25 and Jacky Chen, 5603 High St. on July 12.
