HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) - Hampton Police say the suspect involved in a robbery Wednesday morning is also responsible for 11 other robberies throughout the city.
Cpl. Mary Shackelford with the Hampton Police Division said an unknown black male entered the Auto Zone store located in the 2200 block of Kecoughtan Road around 2:30 p.m. and brandished a handgun, demanding money. He was able to flee with an undisclosed amount of cash toward Wythe Parkway.
According to Shackelford, this isn’t the first time the same suspect has robbed that very same shop. In fact, the suspect is also responsible for nine other various robberies throughout the city.

According to police, the suspect is described as standing 5’5” and in his early 30s. He was last seen wearing a white button up shirt with a plaid shirt underneath, dark jeans, white tennis shoes, yellow safety glasses and a fake beard in Wednesday’s robbery.
