Police seek three robbery suspects

FRANKLIN, Va. (WAVY) - Franklin Police are looking for three suspects in two armed robberies that occurred Thursday night in Barretts Landing.

Police said three suspects robbed a 15-year-old man's wallet behind Birdson Peanut Company around 9:45 p.m. Thursday night. Two of the suspects had guns.

In the second robbery, police said the same suspects robbed two juvenile males at 9:50 p.m. of their cell phones and a small amount of cash while they were on the boardwalk near the boat landing facility. None of the victims were injured.

Police described the first suspect as a white male with blond hair, 18-25 years old, wearing khaki or white basketball shorts, and a black shirt with the word 'Element' on the front.

The second suspect is a black male, heavy set with a raspy voice, tall, 18-25 years old wearing a black shirt and jeans, and armed with a handgun.

The third suspect is a tall thin black male, 18-25 years old, wearing a black shirt and black trousers, and armed with a gun.
