WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) - The Williamsburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who may have been involved in a con scheme.
Maj. Greg Riley with the Williamsburg Police Department said two women entered a local back on June 8 where one withdrew a large sum of money. Police believe the victim gave the second woman the money in what looks to be a con scheme.
The suspect is described as a black female with short, dark hair. She was wearing an orange dress and hoop earrings at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Williamsburg Police Department at 757-220-2331 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
