NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - Police say a man has been arrested for allegedly driving intoxicated with his grandchildren in his car last month.

According to Lou Thurston with the Newport News Police Department, officers pulled over a suspect for speeding Dec. 23 at approximately 2:20 p.m. on 58th Street.

The driver identified himself multiple times as Morgan Henry Jenkins and signed official paperwork under that name, according to Thurston.

Thurston said through fingerprints, the man was later identified to be 47-year-old David Troy Hundley.

Hundley was charged with eight counts of forgery, one count each of identity theft, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, speeding, reckless driving, driving with a revoked operator's license and obstruction of justice.

Additionally, there were two children in Hundley's car, a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old, who were not properly secured in child safety seats during the incident, according to Thurston. Hundley was also charged with two counts of child neglect.
