NNPD nets 21 prostitution arrests

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) - In an operation supporting the National Day of Johns, 21 people were arrested on prostitution charges in Newport News.

According to Harold Eley with the Newport News Police Department, the arrests targeted street prostitution, online prostitution and solicitation of prostitution.

Eley said the arrests occurred Jan. 22, 23 and 26.

Arrests involving undercover operations

Jason Wright, 24 - solicitation of prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Mark Harvey, 53 - solicitation of prostitution, use of vehicle to promote prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Tiffany Richeson, 27 - prostitution, use of vehicle to promote prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Latasha Murphy, 32 - prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Tammy Savola, 39 -  prostitution, use of vehicle to promote prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Corsceca Harris, 19 - prostitution,  arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Christopher Jackson, 36 -  solicitation of prostitution, use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Delia Hardy, 37 - prostitution, use of vehicle to promote prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Troy Gresham, 44 -  solicitation of prostitution, use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Donald Tomaszewski, 26 -  solicitation of prostitution, use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution, arrested at 16000 Warwick Blvd.
Tosha Daniel, 37 - prostitution, arrested in 16000 Warwick Blvd. 
Jakira Jordan, 20 -  prostitution, arrested in 16000 Warwick Blvd. 
Donneil Foskey, 27 - possession of marijuana, obstruction of justice, resisting arrest, destruction of evidence. Thurston said he was transporting Daniel and Jordan, and is not facing any prostitution charges.

Nitori Schiethauer, 19 - soliciting a prostitute,  use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution, arrested at 6100 Jefferson Ave.
Orlando Castro, 37 -  soliciting a prostitute,  use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution , arrested at 6100 Jefferson Ave.
Jose Saralegi, 30 -  soliciting a prostitute,  use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution , arrested at 6100 Jefferson Ave.
Bruce Wharton, 62 -  soliciting a prostitute,  use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution , arrested at 6100 Jefferson Ave.
Cedric Wright, 29 -  soliciting a prostitute,  use of  vehicle  to promote prostitution , arrested at 6100 Jefferson Ave.

Street prostitution arrests:

Betty Pearson, 49 - prostitution, arrested on 500 block of Erin Lane
Yevette McClain, 45 - prostitution, arrested at 29th Street and Marshall Ave.
Charlie Johnson, 46 - prostitution, failure to appear, arrested on 1200 block of 39th Street
Patricia Keller, 32 - prostitution, arrested at 1100 Jefferson Ave.
