HAMPTON (AP) - Former Virginia Tech and NFL player Marcus Vick has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving on a suspended license.
The younger brother of Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick entered his plea Wednesday in Hampton Circuit Court. He was charged in June 2011.
Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Sheree Konstatinou tells The Daily Press (http://bit.ly/SstBf5 ) that Vick received a 30-day jail sentence with 20 days suspended.
Michele Wilson with the Hampton Circuit Court Clerk's Office says Vick will get credit for time already served for the 10 days.
Vick also was fined $800, with $400 suspended for four years.
Judge Wilford Taylor issued an arrest warrant for Vick in September after he failed to appear in court. He turned himself in on Oct. 31 and was released on bond.
