PD: Robbery suspect wore mask, glasses

DARE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) - Deputies say a man donning a face mask and sunglasses is wanted for an armed robbery of a Dare County convenience store last week.
According to Chief Deputy Steve Hoggard with the Dare County Sheriff's Office says the suspect entered Hatchell's Convenience Store on Roanoke Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. Dec. 18.
Hoggard says the suspect demanded money from the cashier. The two got into an altercation and the suspect fled.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'9" and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.
