Man punches victim, steals deposit

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) - York-Poquoson deputies are investigating a report of a strong arm robbery in a bank parking lot Friday night.
Lt. Dennis Ivey with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said a woman reported to deputies she was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money while at the night deposit at the Bank of America on Route 17.
According to the victim, she was approached by an unknown male dressed in all black with his face covered. The suspect punched her and took the deposit bag. She was not injured, Ivey said.
