Man charged with making child porn

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - A 66-year-old Suffolk man is facing 19 charges in connection to a family acquaintance’s report of a five-month long molestation.

Diana Klink with the City of Suffolk said the acquaintance, who was 13-years-old at the time of the incident, reported to police she had been photographed nude and touched inappropriately on numerous occasions between March 2012 and August 2012. The incidents were said to have occurred at Baker’s home in Suffolk.

After further investigation, police charged Baker with seven counts of taking indecent liberties with a child, six counts of sexual abuse of a child under 15, two counts of aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, production of child pornography, forcible sodomy and criminal solicitation to commit a felony, to wit: indecent liberties.

Additional charges are possible, Klink said.

Baker is being held at the Western Tidewater Regional Jail with no bond.
